The organic, high-variety seed blend formulated to provide higher protein, healthy fat, and necessary fiber to support long-term hamster health. This recipe was originally developed for our ethically bred Winter White hamsters raised in-house at Happy Hamstery, where maintaining precise nutritional balance is essential, so we made our own!

Each batch is made fresh once a month by Tabitha, the owner of Happy Hamstery, using a wide range of all organic grains, legumes, seeds, and tea grade flowers. The diverse and high variety ingredient profile encourages natural foraging and hoarding behaviors while allowing hamsters to eat instinctively from a nutritionally balanced mix, and lowers the chance of developing picky eating habits.

This food is suitable as a daily staple diet for all hamster species, including both Syrians and dwarfs.

BONUS: Every bag includes a small collectible mushroom. This nostalgic touch is inspired by the surprise toys I used to find in my cereal boxes as a child and is meant to make restocking your hamster’s food feel a little more fun. These mushrooms are not for the hamster, just something special for you! Collect them all and enjoy a small thank you on us!

Average Syrian Hamsters:

For a hamster in a new enclosure, to allow adequate food for building a natural hoard, offer approximately 2 tablespoons nightly for the first month. Once a consistent hoard has been established, reduce to 1 tablespoon nightly.

Average Dwarf & Hybrid Hamsters:

For a hamster in a new enclosure, offer approximately 1 tablespoon nightly to support hoarding behavior. Once a hoard is established (around one month), reduce to ½  tablespoon daily, or approximately 1 tablespoon every other day.
