Happy Hamstery does not ship hamsters.
You can pick up your hamster during a pre-arranged weekend adoption event. Our Hamstery is located in Rock Hill, South Carolina!
Maybe make it into a vacation if you don’t live in the area.

Adopting a Hamster is a 1-3 year commitment that should not be taken lightly. But we do understand there are circumstances that are unavoidable.
Please contact adopt@happyhamstery.com to share your situation with our team. Should you become unable to care for your hamster, we will re-adopt your hamster if a proper enclosure is provided.

We will work with you as best we can to get your package to you. If the order has already shipped, we will wait until the order is marked "return to sender" and then we will ship it to your correct address.

Canceling must take place prior to the card auto-renewing.

Once a Quarterly or Yearly Plan is purchased, it is non-refundable.
If you choose to cancel your subscription, the current quarter’s box that was previously purchased will still ship but the subscription will be canceled and will not renew the following quarter. If your subscription renews automatically, you must cancel before the next billing date to avoid being charged for the next box.

In the event of a payment dispute, all shipments and services will be paused until the dispute is resolved.
Shipping Policy
At Happy Hamstery LLC, we’re committed to delivering your products with care and transparency. This Shipping Policy outlines how and when your order will be processed, shipped, and delivered.
1. Processing & Fulfillment Timeline
We aim to prepare and ship your order as quickly as possible. Our standard processing time is:
- Orders are shipped within 14 calendar days of purchase, unless otherwise noted on a product listing or during checkout (e.g., for pre-orders or custom-made items).
You will receive an automatic email confirmation when your order is placed and a separate email with tracking information once your order has shipped.
2. Carriers and Shipping Methods
We currently ship using major carriers such as:
- USPS
- UPS
The carrier used for your order will depend on your selected shipping method and the size or weight of the package. Shipping fees are calculated at checkout based on your location and order contents.
3. Shipping Destinations
We ship domestically within the United States as well as Internationally.
International orders may incur additional charges, with the customer’s consent, if shipping costs exceed the standard rate.
4. Delivery Estimates
Once shipped, typical delivery times are as follows:
- Standard Shipping: 3–7 business days
Please note: Delivery timeframes are in addition to our 14-day processing window.
5. Address Accuracy
Please double-check your shipping address before completing your order. We are not responsible for packages that are lost, delayed, or returned due to incorrect or incomplete addresses. If a package is returned to us due to an address error, the customer will be responsible for additional shipping charges to resend it.
6. Lost or Delayed Packages
While we do our best to ensure your order arrives safely and on time, Happy Hamstery LLC is not responsible for delays caused by the shipping carrier, weather conditions, or other events outside our control.
If your package is significantly delayed or marked as delivered but not received, please contact the shipping carrier directly with your tracking number. You're also welcome to contact us at adopt@happyhamstery.com, and we’ll do our best to help.
7. Pre-orders and Custom Items
Some items (such as seasonal products or customized accessories) may have longer processing times. These extended timelines will be clearly noted on the product page and/or during checkout.
8. Order Splitting
In rare cases, your order may be split into multiple shipments to ensure faster delivery of in-stock items. You will not be charged extra shipping fees for split shipments.

Refunds Policy
At Happy Hamstery, every product is packed with care and purpose, and we want our customers to be completely confident in their purchases. Due to the nature of our business and the products we offer, all sales are considered final. However, we understand that rare issues can arise, and we have outlined our policy below to provide clarity and peace of mind.
1. Refund Consideration Window
While returns are not accepted, refunds may be considered within 14 days of delivery on a case-by-case basis under the following conditions:
- The product arrived damaged or defective
- You received the wrong item
- There was a fulfillment error on our part
To request a refund, you must contact us at adopt@happyhamstery.com within 14 days of delivery with:
- Your order number
- A clear explanation of the issue
- Photo evidence of the product and packaging
Requests submitted after 14 days from delivery will not be eligible for review.
2. What Is Not Eligible for Refund
Refunds will not be granted for:
- Change of mind
- Incorrect product selection by the customer
- Items damaged due to improper use or handling
- Personalized or custom items (including name tags, keychains, and accessories)
3. Resolution Process
If your request is approved, you may be offered:
- A full or partial refund
- A store credit or discount on a future order
- A replacement item, where applicable
Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Please allow 5–10 business days for processing.
