People often think that they’re seeing their hamster throw up, but it’s really them “spitting” all of the food from their cheek pouches out!
But CAN the throw up?
Nope! They literally don’t even have the REFLEXES to throw up-- they aren’t physically capable!
Their diaphragm is too weak to try and they don’t have the neural pathways to even attempt it!

if your hamster eats something they shouldn’t, you need to take them to a vet-- they don’t have the instincts to throw up something that they shouldn’t eat like many other animals!
