Poplar ✓
- Softer, fluffier texture
- Brighter, easier to spot clean pee
- Easier, fluffier texture for burrowing!
- Highly absorbent wood, less bedding wasted
- Great for nesting & gentle on sensitive feet
- Low-dust when properly processed
Softer Texture
Poplar is softer and less coarse that aspen bedding. Hamsters find it more comfortable for nesting and softer on their feet
Less Sharp Pieces
Aspen can contain harder splinters or sharper wood fragments, particularly in cheaper brands. Quality poplar bedding is often uniform and fluffy.
Less Dusty
Poplar bedding produces less dust than other hardwood shavings. Since hamsters have sensitive respiratory systems, lower dust can be beneficial & has been found to help allergies.
Highly Absorbent
Poplar absorbs pee and odor well. Customers find less bedding is thrown away during spot cleanings and more odor is absorbed by Poplar Wood.
Lighter Color
Poplar is a pale cream color, making spot-cleaning easier because urine stains become more visible.
We are working with Bucastate to bring Poplar Bedding to the USA.
