The leaves are less vibrant than in the website photos, but they arrived primarily intact in the packaging (some slight crumbling at the bottom). They smell pleasantly forest-y, almost like dried herbs. The leaves really add to a more natural-feeling enclosure without being brittle or dusty. My Syrian actually prefers leaves over flowers, I've spotted him snacking on a few of the smaller leaves, he loves them!
